The Importance of Inspecting/Replacing Cabin and Engine Air Filters
July 31 2019, Paillé GM
Cabin filters and air filters each stop harmful debris from entering your car. When a filter stops working correctly, it can cause damage to your vehicle. When your air filter fails, it will affect your engine's performance. When your cabin filter is not working correctly, it will lessen the quality of the air you breathe.
Experts recommend you should inspect your filters regularly. At a minimum, you should inspect them at least once a year or every 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. As your filters age, they start to collect more debris and pollutants. The more contaminated a filter becomes, the harder it has to work. This results in poor engine performance and weaker airflow from the vents in your car's interior.
Visit us today at Paillé Berthierville and let one of our automotive experts inspect your car's filters. If your filters need replacing, we will install new ones and get your car back to performing at its peak.
